The Events include Opera and Jazz in the Vineyard and the ever popular Gamekeepers Dinner.
Opera in the Vineyard and Jazz in the Vineyard are held in partnership with the Stanthorpe Rotary Club and are the clubs major fundraisers. It is anticipated that the 2 events will have raised 1 million dollars in the next couple of years – a great achievement for a rural club and boutique winery!!
Opera attracts around 2000 guests each year and is a black tie event featuring world class performers, award winning wines, spectacular scenery and a gala dinner dance in the evening. Held on the May long weekend each year, this event has established itself as the Granite Belts major cultural event.
Jazz is a much more laid back event and is more festival style than formal. Colourful tents, picnic rugs and an amazing line up of Jazz musicians provides 8 hours of entertainment with great food and wine and the most beautiful sunset in the region.
The Gamekeepers Dinner is an intimate meal featuring local wild asparagus and game meats prepared by Mary Puglisi and her team in the Barrel Room Café. The dinner features five courses of game such as quail, rabbit and wallaby perfectly matched with our award winning wines.
