At Our Table

A wine and food journey

Immerse yourself into the world of wine with an experience that takes you behind the scenes at Queensland’s oldest winery. This is your chance to explore our winesheritage and viticulture. Hear the stories, enjoy the heritage and meet the personalities that make up Ballandean Estate. Hosted by one of the family we start with a vineyard tour and exploration of our history and our winemaking.  At noon we sit by the gurgling barrels in the Barrelroom restaurant for a 2 course lunch with matching wines.

$100 per person, every Monday, 11am to 3pm. On hold for July and August as we transition The Barrelroom.

Meet the Puglisi family

We live and breathe wine, and we’d love to share our world-class wines with you!

Since 1932 our family has produced wine from our vineyards in Ballandean. We are exceptionally proud of our contribution to the unfolding story of the Granite Belt Wine Region. The future of the Granite Belt as a successful Australian wine region is in the hands of many talented professionals — and our future generations will continue to be an integral part of the story. Angelo Puglisi, estate owner

Our iconic barrels

A visit to the Granite Belt is not complete without seeing the oldest working barrels in Queensland.  These majestic 150-year-old German beer barrels have taken pride of place in the winery since 1971.  Filled with ageing Port and Liqueur Muscat, they could well be the most photographed icons on the Granite Belt.
