Viticulture
Merlot has been a stand-out performer on the Granite Belt for many years. Our region was in fact named a few years ago as having the ‘best-flavoured’ Merlot in Australia. Without good vineyard practices, Merlot can overcrop and become a weedy in flavour. However, over many years, we have learnt all the best ways to get the incredible flavours we do from the variety.
